From the above analysis of Pros and Cons, we decide to select the「Real eNB Approach with BML at NCTU Campus」. The advantages of this approach listed in the following:

  1. BML has 4G/LTE with real eNBs as base stations of Radio Access Network(RAN) with LTE FDD/TDD dual mode
  2. Multi-vendors eNBs: Nokia and Huawei
  3. EPC can handle multi-vendor base stations
  4. BML has a chamber room providing MIMO OTA(Over The Air)
  5. Rich with 4G/LTE testing & measurement equipment
